Red Ledges Golf Club is a Private, 30 hole golf facility located in Heber City, Utah. The facility has The 18-hole (Jack Nicklaus) Signature Course and The (12-Hole, par-3) Signature Golf Park.
Red Ledges is a private, four-season mountain golf community in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The Championship Signature Course opened for play in 2009. The (12-Hole, par-3) Signature Golf Park opened in 2016. The courses were designed by Jack Nicklaus.
The 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Course at Red Ledges is a classic risk/reward style of course design with challenges for golfers of every level. At 7,653-yards, it is all the challenge the scratch golfer is looking for. The course rewards with dramatic natural topography and views, with holes winding through open meadows, along dramatic red rock cliffs, and atop elevated ridges with stunning vistas of the surrounding Wasatch mountain range.
The course quickly captured accolades. In December of 2009, the course was rated as the #1 Best New Private Course in America by GOLF Magazine. In 2010 and 2011, Red Ledges was named the Best Golf Course in Utah by Best of State Awards, Utah's premier recognition and awards program. These ratings are a testimonial to the special feeling Red Ledges offers golfers of all abilities.
Each hole has four sets of tees placed daily and many holes have alternate tee boxes that allow for great flexibility in the course set up. Yardages were carefully planned to ensure that golfers were required to use all the clubs in their bag to navigate the course.
Adjacent to the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, golf members and their guests can enjoy the twelve-hole Nicklaus Design Signature Golf Park that features a dozen par-three holes.
